Join us April 6-7, 2012, for the 6th Annual Wasatch Expo.  This year the Expo will be held at the South Towne Expo Center in Sandy, Utah.  We've doubled our venue space to 32,000 sq ft.  This will be our biggest Expo so far and will include two indoor casting ponds, 60+ vendors and exhibitors, 60+ fly tyers and demos, classes, workshops, casting clinics, 3rd Annual fly casting competition, drawings, auctions, and banquet Friday evening.  Admission is only a $1, kids are free.  Come join us and bring the whole family.

In 1980 Craig and his wife founded Blue Ribbon Flies which was at that time a wholesale fly tying operation utilizing handicapped fly tiers.  Jackie ran the operation until 1982 when Craig retired as police chief and devoted full time to Blue Ribbon which then began its retail operations. Since then BRF and Craig and Jackie have won numerous conservation awards like the prestigious “Protector of Yellowstone National Park Award”.  This award is rarely given  out by Yellowstone National Park.  It is awarded those whose mission is to protect and preserve Yellowstone for future generations.  BRF has also won The Nature Conservancy’s business award for a business doing the most to protect and preserve Montana’s natural resources, Trout Unlimited’s stewardship award, and many more.

Craig has authored and co-authored several important books on fishing and bird shooting inYellowstone country and the west, “Fly Patterns of Yellowstone” Vol 1 and 2, “Fishing Yellowstone’s Hatches”, “Fly Fishing the Madison”, “The Yellowstone Fly Fishing Guide”, ”Western Fly Fishing Strategies”, “Afield, American Authors on Bird Dogs” and “Astream, American writers on Trout Fishing” to be released in 2012. He has received Telly awards for his roles in producing 4 important DVD’s on fishing the Yellowstone country.  In 2002 he and his close friend, Yvon Chouinard owner of Patagonia Inc, co-founded 1% for the Planet, a group of over 1500 business members that send 1% of their GROSS sales to researched and approved conservation causes. This organization will break the $100 million dollar mark this year! They believe that a business utilizing our public healthy resources in their business must give back to conservation causes.
