Electrical Service Guide

Choose electrical service based on the total power requirements of the equipment you plan to operate at your booth. The following examples are provided only as a general guide. Exhibitors should always check the UL rating label or power specification tag on each piece of equipment before selecting an electrical package.

5 Amps / 500 Watts
Appropriate for most exhibitors using typical electronic equipment such as a laptop, TV or digital display, POS/card reader, and phone chargers. A laptop, 55-inch LED TV, POS system, and several phone chargers can typically operate together within 500 watts.

10 Amps / 1,000 Watts
Consider this level for multiple displays, extensive booth lighting, larger multi-booth installations, or equipment such as small heat guns or other light power tools used for demonstrations.

15 Amps / 1,500 Watts
Intended for high-draw equipment such as heat presses, high-powered heat guns, space heaters, or other heavy electrical equipment.

If you are only operating a TV, laptop, POS/card reader, and phone chargers, 5 Amp service will normally be sufficient. Exhibitors are responsible for determining the electrical requirements of their equipment and ordering the appropriate service from JP Display.
