Wasatch Expo Hosts

The Wasatch Fly Tying & Fly Fishing Expo is planned and organized entirely by volunteers from several fly fishing organizations dedicated to promoting the sport in Utah. The Expo is made possible through the support of non-profit groups that share a passion for fly fishing, conservation, and community.

Local chapters of Trout Unlimited and Fly Fishers International play a central role in this effort. These organizations work to conserve, protect, and restore coldwater fisheries while preserving and promoting the traditions of fly fishing. Through volunteer projects, education, community partnerships, and responsible angling practices, they support healthy trout populations, improve aquatic habitats, and help ensure that clean water, sustainable fisheries, and the heritage of fly fishing are passed on to future generations.

Bonneville Fly Fishers

The Bonneville Fly Fishers is one of Utah’s longest-standing fly fishing clubs and a proud member club of Fly Fishers International (FFI). Based along the Wasatch Front, the organization brings together anglers who share a passion for fly fishing, conservation, education, and community involvement.

Bonneville Fly Fishers provides a welcoming environment for both beginning and experienced anglers. Through regular meetings, educational presentations, casting instruction, and group fishing outings, the club encourages members to improve their skills while enjoying Utah’s exceptional trout waters.

As an FFI-affiliated club, Bonneville Fly Fishers also supports the broader mission of promoting fly fishing education, conserving fisheries, and protecting aquatic habitats. Members frequently participate in conservation initiatives, volunteer projects, youth education programs, and community outreach efforts that help protect and improve Utah’s coldwater fisheries.

Organization Spotlight: Cache Anglers

The Cache Anglers, based in Logan, Utah, is a proud Trout Unlimited chapter serving anglers throughout Cache Valley and northern Utah. The club brings together fly fishers who share a passion for coldwater fisheries, conservation, and the traditions of fly fishing.

Cache Anglers promotes responsible angling and environmental stewardship through conservation projects, educational programs, and community outreach. Members actively support efforts to protect and restore trout habitat while encouraging anglers of all experience levels to learn and participate in the sport.

Monthly meetings provide an opportunity for members and guests to enjoy guest speakers, fly-fishing education, and time with fellow anglers. Meetings are typically held on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Bridgerland Audubon Society building, 69 N. 1000 W., Logan, Utah.

Through its commitment to conservation, education, and fellowship on the water, Cache Anglers continues to strengthen the fly fishing community in Cache Valley and help ensure that healthy rivers and sustainable trout fisheries are preserved for future generations.

Heber Valley Fly Casters

The Wasatch Fly Tying & Fly Fishing Expo is proud to recognize the Heber Valley Fly Casters as one of our valued hosts. Based in Utah’s scenic Wasatch Back, the club brings together anglers of all skill levels who share a passion for fly fishing, learning, and spending time on the water.

Heber Valley Fly Casters regularly organizes meetings, group fishing outings, and skill-building opportunities where members can exchange knowledge about casting, fly selection, and reading water. The club is also affiliated with Fly Fishers International (FFI), helping promote conservation, education, and stewardship of our fisheries.

Through their support of the Expo and their ongoing efforts to build community among anglers, the Heber Valley Fly Casters play an important role in strengthening fly fishing in Utah.

High Country Fly Fishers

The High Country Fly Fishers, based in Park City, Utah, is a proud Trout Unlimited chapter serving anglers throughout Summit County and the surrounding Wasatch Back. The club brings together fly fishers of all experience levels who share a passion for the sport, conservation, and the stewardship of Utah’s coldwater fisheries.

High Country Fly Fishers hosts regular fishing outings, educational programs, conservation projects, and community events that help anglers build skills while protecting the rivers and streams they enjoy. Through partnerships with conservation groups and local agencies, the chapter works to restore habitat, support healthy trout populations, and promote responsible angling practices.

Monthly meetings are open to the public and provide opportunities for members and guests to enjoy guest speakers, educational presentations, and time with fellow anglers. Meetings are typically held on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM at the Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, 1505 White Pine Canyon Rd, Park City, UT 84060.

Stone Fly Society of Utah

The Stonefly Society of Utah, based in Salt Lake City, is a Trout Unlimited chapter dedicated to promoting fly fishing, conservation, and community among anglers across the Wasatch Front. The organization brings together fly fishers of all skill levels who share a passion for learning, responsible angling, and protecting Utah’s coldwater fisheries.
