Description: Without a doubt, chironomids or midges offer the most prolonged and effective aquatic insect emergence fishing opportunity in productive stillwaters. Chironomids begin emerging shortly after ice off and can still be effective well into the late fall fishing season. This seminar covers everything about this insect emergence and fishing tactics. There will be ample discussion of pattern selection, specific presentation techniques and a review of the latest fly tying materials to built effective pupal patterns.
